Acoustics and lighting where key considerations when tasked with the conceptual design of Swinburne University's new music school. I drew inspiration from the drum when designing the form of the building.
Offsetting the second level provides adequate protection for the outdoor seating by the cafe on level 1 and also creates a balcony on level 2.
